What it is

Average corners per match for a team, both for and against. Teams that attack down the wings generate more corners.

Formula

Corners/Game = Total Corners / Games Played

Real Example

Manchester City average: 7.2 corners/game in favour | 3.1 against | Total: 10.3 → OVER 9.5 corners favourable.

When to Use

Teams that press wide and cross generate more corners; a deficit on the scoreboard leads to more attacks = more corners.
