Statistics & markets

Over / Under

Predicts whether the total goals in the match will be more (OVER) or less/equal (UNDER) than a specific number. 2.5 is the most common line — the decimal eliminates ties in the prediction.

🎯

Both Teams Score (BTTS)

Predicts whether both teams will score at least 1 goal each. The final result doesn't matter — only that both teams found the net.

🏆

Winner or Draw

Predicts there will be a definitive winner at the end of regular time. The draw is completely excluded. If the match ends level, the prediction loses.

📊

Asian Handicap (AH)

The favourite starts with a goal disadvantage (-) and the underdog gets a head start (+). Eliminates the draw by using decimal values. AH -1.5 means the favourite must win by 2 or more.

🎲

1X2 (Final Result)

The simplest market. Choose between 3 options: 1 = Home wins, X = Draw, 2 = Away wins. Most liquid market with the most historical data available.

🛡️

Double Chance

Covers two of the three possible outcomes with a single pick. Options: 1X (Home or Draw), X2 (Draw or Away), 12 (Home or Away — no draw). Reduces risk but also lowers the odds.

🤝

Draw No Bet (DNB)

Choose Home or Away. If the match ends in a draw your stake is returned — no profit, no loss. You only lose if the other team wins.

🎯

Correct Score

Predicting the exact final scoreline. Extremely difficult but offers very high odds. Hits only ~8-15% of the time even with strong analysis.

⏱️

Half Time / Full Time (HT/FT)

Predict the half-time result AND the full-time result. 9 possible combinations: 1/1, 1/X, 1/2, X/1, X/X, X/2, 2/1, 2/X, 2/2.

🔒

Clean Sheet

Predicts whether a specific team will concede zero goals during the entire match.

First / Last Goal Scorer

Predicts which player will score the first or last goal. Requires individual form analysis, position, and goal patterns. Starting strikers with ≥4 goals in last 5 matches have higher probability.

Trends

📊

Recent Form

Record of the last 5 matches shown as W-D-L. Reflects the team's current momentum.

🤝

H2H (Head to Head)

Historical record of all encounters between two specific teams. The last 5 H2Hs are more relevant than the last 20.

🏠

Home Advantage

Performance difference when a team plays at their own stadium vs away. Most teams perform significantly better at home.

🔥

Win Streak

Number of consecutive wins. Streaks of 5+ wins have only a 45% probability of continuing in the next matchday (La Liga average).

🛡️

Clean Sheet Run

Number of consecutive matches without conceding a goal. Indicates a team in great defensive form.

Goals Per Game (GPG)

Average goals scored (offensive) or conceded (defensive) per match. Key for predicting Over/Under and BTTS markets.

🏆

Cup vs League Performance

Many teams rotate in cup games and prioritise the league (or vice versa). Teams that rotate in cup competitions have on average 18% less offensive efficiency.

🚩

Corner Trends

Average corners per match for a team, both for and against. Teams that attack down the wings generate more corners.

🟨

Card Trends

Average yellow and red cards per match. Depends on playing style, the assigned referee, and team rivalry.

Technical analysis

📈

Possession (%)

Percentage of time a team controls the ball. High possession does not guarantee winning (counter-attacking teams prove this), but it shows who dictates the pace.

Implied Probability

The probability that a decimal odd implies for an event occurring. If your estimate exceeds the implied probability, there is 'statistical value'. All implied probabilities sum to >100% (the excess is the house margin).

🎯

Shots on Target vs Total

Ratio of shots on target to total shots. Measures attack precision. Elite: >40% | Average: 30-40% | Low: <30%.

💡

Conversion Efficiency

Percentage of shots on target that become goals. >25% = High (possibly unsustainable) | 15-25% = Normal | <15% = Low (expect improvement).

PPDA (High Press)

Passes allowed to the opponent per defensive action. Low PPDA = very intense pressing. Reference: <7 = Very high press | 7-10 = Medium | >10 = Low block.

➡️

Progressive Passes

Passes that advance the ball at least 10 metres toward the opponent's goal. Measures the team's verticality. >80/game = Very vertical | 50-80 = Normal | <50 = Slow/patient.

🏅

ELO Rating

Ranking system adapted from chess. Rises with wins (more against strong opponents) and falls with losses. Represents 'true strength' regardless of league. Reference: >2000 = World elite | 1800-2000 = Very good | 1600-1800 = Average.
