Goals Per Game (GPG)

What it is

Average goals scored (offensive) or conceded (defensive) per match. Key for predicting Over/Under and BTTS markets.

Formula

Offensive GPG = Total Goals Scored / Games | Defensive GPG = Total Goals Conceded / Games

Real Example

Barcelona Offensive GPG last 10: 2.8 goals/game | Defensive GPG: 0.9 → Projects OVER and Clean Sheet as favourable.

When to Use

Combine with the opponent's GPG to estimate total expected goals for the match.
