Goals Market
What it is
Predicts whether the total goals in the match will be more (OVER) or less/equal (UNDER) than a specific number. 2.5 is the most common line — the decimal eliminates ties in the prediction.
Formula
Total Goals = GF(Home) + GF(Away) | If > 2.5 → OVER | If ≤ 2.5 → UNDER
Real Example
Real Madrid 3-1 Barcelona (La Liga 2025) → 4 goals → OVER 2.5 ✓. Variants: Over/Under 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5.
When to Use
Matches between attacking teams; when both sides need to win; analyze both teams' goals-per-game average.
